We are a locally owned, full service landscape architectural firm specializing in vineyard and estate design, cave/storage development and tasting room design in the Southwest.

With 40 years experience in site planning, grading, erosion control, irrigation and landscape design. We have brought value and distinction to clients in Napa and Sonoma Counties and New Zealand.

We begin by evaluating your site's terroir, weather, slopes, drainage, well , irrigation system, grape varietals and vine cultural practices. This evaluation provides sound science for all aesthetic considerations for development.

Next, the site access is considered along with farm road location. We evaluate locations for equipment storage, barns, winery, cave/warehouse and residence locations. Finally,we consider of existing trees and natural areas that should be preserved and enhanced, including the addition of screening as needed.

Access to the winery varies from season to season yet must be smooth and fluid. Considerations include crush pad/handling, fermentation, barrel and bottle storage, bottling, shipping and security.

Accommodating the public is one of the most significant features that generates sales, identifies brand loyalty and provides an enjoyable tasting experience. Architectural theme, handicap access, picnic areas with shade, event hosting facilities, and event lighting are some elements of the experience.

Remember the tasting room experience is the first and last thing your clients will experience and what will promote your hard work!
